Equity
Equity is body of law which is distinct and separate from the common law. It was developed in the Court of Chancery which has had the traditional role of supplementing, correcting and controlling the rules of common law.Equity jurisdiction includes a wide range of matters, including traditional and statutory jurisdictions:
